Communication

I will be trying to post daily from now on. There is a lot going on in the hardware industry and it bears discussion. There are many fears concerning our current national economic state of affairs. Yet from my position in a national hardware distribution, I see a slowing that is by no means terribly drastic or universal. While that may come, what I see right now is a number of new, large jobs appearing every day. So there is work out there, my friends. It might be harder to get, so that means we all have to get smarter.

Change Time

Knock on wood, so far so good. Yes, business is down a little, but it appears that things are still moving in our industry for now. Let's hope our good fortune continues. I've always found that if you can sufficiently differentiate yourself as a person who does the job well, you will always have work. Work hard and pinch your pennies and you'll be okay.

How's Business?

We are doing OK. Inventory is good, calls and orders are coming in. Given all the doom and gloom out there, I consider myself very, very lucky.
